Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hey guys! My name is Corey Meyers also known as MVHRZ pronounced [m-ar-z] within the Electronic Music Industry. I am a 23 Yr. Old Melodic Dubstep Music Producer/DJ from Southern California. In 2012 I graduated High School & got excepted into the honours program for artists at the Art Institute of Santa Monica for Audio Engineering. I have worked with upcoming industry artists, vocalists & company's such as, ( Stephanie Crews, Patrick Spacey, Nicole Frye, Ncredible Records, Seiko Entertainment, Triv Music, Pauline Herr, & Fate Events) . I reside now in the Inland Empire of California, spending almost 17 hours a day producing & running sound design for an upcoming ep that's going to release in April 2018. I also have a track with Patrick Spacey & Nicole Frye called " Your Escape" releasing on ITunes & Spotify hopefully by March 1st. Flying under the radar with no Current labels or management. I hope to take the Electronic Music Industry by storm in 2018 with Unique & Heart pulling sounds, live compositions & startling stage design. How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My main influence will always be from Sounds that make you feel. In 2011 everything for me was House/Trance Music. I started creating melodies, pianos, custom synths. Somehow within those 7 yrs I found myself listening to more Hard DUBSTEP, Riddim, Trap music. Attending many shows and meet and greet. I decided last year actually after Alias Experimenting that Melodic Dubstep, Future Bass, Progressive trap is where my heart lies. People tend to run away from music that makes them feel, that's where I dive in.
What´s new right now?
Currently have no Upcoming Shows, still in the process of Looking for a good Management Team! 2018 has a lot in store for me & I can feel it. I have 2 releases coming out really soon. One is a 4 track original "ep" dropping in April & the other is a collaboration I did with Patrick Spacey & Nicole Frye on our track " Your escape" which will be available on ALL major platforms soon! Shooting by the end of February. U.S Tour ideas for 2018 have been thoughts of mine as well. Stick Around and check the links below to hear my sounds.
