Read the Ozumata Interview below and share it on social media.

Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

I am Leonel. I am a Colorado Bass producer. I Produce from Dubstep, Drumstep, Future Bass, and midtempo. Mostly Drumstep and Dubstep. I am currently a college student studying Geo Spacial Technology

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

I was a Junior in High school at that time. I started first with Cubase and moved to FL Studios 10. I noticed a Huge rise in people noticing me after I Went under the Alias "Emmunize". After High school, I wanted to begin making fat heavy bass music as Ozumata. Leviathan and Voo Tain being the power tunes that I currently have.

What´s new right now?

Gigs no so much. Production wise? A lot. I am wrapping up my "Night of the Owl EP" which is going to be me telling a story of who i am as a producer from, Trap, Future Bass and Dubstep

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?

Terravita and Excision. Because those guys legit break my neck at concerts.

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?

Not compressing. Legit thats how i fucked up my dynamic range in earlier tracks.
My biggest advice is to learn your DAW basics first!

Do you have insights on how to grow your audience on soundcloud that you want to share with our audience?

Just publish free stuff and get on promotion channels.

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?

Mental Health. Legit Depression and Anxiety can legit kill my mood in production. The biggest challenge was creating music while Depressed. Anxiety having me not share my music with people and tell them who I am.

How do you personally discover new music?

legit just listening to sound cloud stream.

Once you discovered new music, do you tell others about the new music/artist you discovered? If yes, how exactly?

"Of Cource, By simply blasting it in my car!

We meet again in one year. What has changed?

Hard to say. Probably will still be in college, as for music. I will have a bunch of Tracks out and maybe, just maybe a gig.
