Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
I am SBRN, a 20year old Dj&Producer from Spain.
I have been producing for a while now, and my new year resolution was to promote my music, so I have started to make my dream a producer true.
I've started to be active on SoundCloud soundcloud.com/sbrnmusic & Instagram and lately I received support from Maxima Fm, and producers from SPINNIN Records, ARMADA Music and MIXMASH.
I am also planning to release my first EP soon, with some dope collabs!
Recently my remix for 'So Far Away' got viral on Instagram https://soundcloud.com/sbrnmusic/sofarawayremix

As a Dj, I am willing to Dj in Mallorca & Ibiza this year (still waiting for confirmation though)
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I think the person I am most influenced by is Martin Garrix. I have met him a couple of times, and he is a super nice & down to earth person. He started as a bedroom producer, with nothing but his computer and he managed to get to the top. I feel inspired by him, as he is the proof that literally anyone can follow their dream, and get to the top.
What´s new right now?
Right now I am working on an EP. I told my manager to give a date in which it should be done because I tend to have lots of projects and never finish them… The EP is going to be half collabs half personal tracks. I want to mix some club songs and nice chill future bass tracks, I will be an EP that people will enjoy listening either a Friday night in the club or every day while going to school/college/work!!
I also have several mashups and remixes coming pretty soon. All of them have already support from a lot of people, and I am also working on a couple of big projects!!
As a Dj, I am waiting for confirmation of several clubs in Mallorca, Ibiza, and some other places in Spain, it is going to be a sick summer!!

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?
Because he is super inspirational to me. I have seen a lot of his interviews and the way he works, thinks and does thing reminds me a lot of me. Also I like every single track he has made (It´s Martin Garrix, by the way)

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
Focus on making a good product, and make something that you like. At the beginning, I tried to make bangers, but I didn´t enjoy and the results were not the wanted

How do you get gigs? Can you share any tips?
Try to record yourself, and do not record anything, you should record the best session you could ever made, no mistakes, no anything! Then after that, send it to a lot of clubs.

Do you have good promotion tips for other musicians?
It may look stupid, but I make giveaways in instagram so that everybody shares the post with my song! With that method I got my tracks to over 45000% more people that by only posting it

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
Trying to promote my music, and it has gone well… I got my music to the biggest radio show in Sain, and got supported by a couple of international artists

What is your number one tip to improve your music production or songwriting skills?
It is hard to give any other advise apart from practice, practice, practice… that is how I learned to produce, but a huge tip would be to learn a little bit of music theory, even the best sound will be messed up if the song is not in key

What is your best tip for those who struggle with finishing their tracks?
Commit, make a deadline for your track. Set a day on your calendar and finish the track before that day

We meet again in one year. What has changed?
Probably I got signed by a nice label, Martin Garrix supported a track I made, I made a collab with a DjMag Top100, I got a residency in the city I live and got to play in Ibiza! Those are my 2018 resolutions, and I am seriously going to try my best to get them done!
