Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

I am a Hard Dance Artist from Switzerland.
My musical career as Strixter started 3 years ago on Soundcloud.
Since the age of 5 years I have always been passionate about electronic music, but it was 2 years when I really approached Hard Dance (Hard House, Hard Trap, Hardstyle etc…).

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

At first I was very interested in the "Ryos" Progressive House style and tried to look like them at all costs, then after a year I really started to appreciate Hard Dance, my first Hard House tracks were sh*t, but remember, we all start from somewhere,

What´s new right now?

I have a lot of music coming out soon, lots of projects and collabs.
I've improved a lot over the last 12 months and I hope people will appreciate everything that's coming.

The only thing I can say to do good, and the good will come back to you. In other words just work hard.

What is your number one tip to improve your music production or songwriting skills?

My number one tip would be to master what you have first, example, don't just download 10 compressors vst and 20000 Eq vst, if you do this you'll never learn how one of them works because you'll always discovering new things and too fast and just never focus on one thing at the time, the result is that you'll be stuck and won't learn anything from it, master what YOU have first.

What is your best tip for those who struggle with finishing their tracks?

When you are struggling to finish a track typically is because you are producing too many days for too long, this causes the so-called "Producer's Blocks" or "Writer's Blocks", which causes the lack of ideas for your tracks. My advice is to change the air, go out of the music studio, do not make any music for at least 2 weeks, go out for long walks, listen to music very different from what you would normally listen and you'll see that you will have many ideas.
