Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
I am Tejas Salgaonkar from Goa, India. I make music, remixes and also have an interest in making movie or game scores. Aiming for that high level of musical knowledge that I will collect and also distribute now and in future. I also love playing pc games, hoping to run my own twitch gaming sessions! as I said I make music: I usually I try to fuse two elements or genres or add an orchestral ambiance to my track and try to preview my countries root classical music by adding it to EDM genre! My theme is based on the fusion of water and fire which has fascinated me! I didn't go to any music school but my entire knowledge comes from youtube and tutorials by my mentors Jay Hardway, KSHMR, Martin Garrix, Musicbylukas, etc! My style is kinda like Jay Hardway / Florian Picasso with KSHMR elements which I enjoy making the most! apart from that I also try to switch between genres! I often make emotional music but somehow it grabs me and I can speak through it! I try to make music like DYRO, Loopers, Goja, Curbi, Wiwek, Hardwell, Martin Garrix etc while keeping it original because I don't believe in coping someone's tunes, just not right! Their music has motivated my into learning more about making music! I work on Fl Studio which I discovered in 2009 and later discovered the working of it by learning more and more, and still learning!
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My influences are all my mentors, the few artist which have motivated me into making more music: they are KSHMR, Jay Hardway, Curbi, Wiwek, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Florian Picasso, MusicbyLUKAS etc. all though they haven't met me in person they teach a lot through their music and tutorials and live streams which helps a lot! I used to make garbage music without any sense of mastering and mixing in 2013 – 15, most of my old projects are missing and gone when the system got corrupted but then I started having a change in music from mid-2016 when I learned more about mixing and mastering properly, but still it wasn't satisfactory. in 2017 I managed to make music like "No love" & "Nasty Cat" which showed a lot of quality changes in my music! I like to keep it clean or I don't feel to send or upload it anywhere. Yes I changed my taste in music a lot, back then it was all Bigroom but now I try to keep my foot in the sections of Future House, Future Bounce, Melbourne bounce, electro house, tropical house, progressive house (my default genre), Psytrance and many more!

What´s new right now?
My latest activity in 2018 is my Vinai – Parade Trap Remix which most of the people liked! Due to my final exams, i mostly miss the time to work on more projects but I stay up late nights to work on the remixes and collabs! I love making music but sometimes time doesn't support. I have many collaborations coming! also singles and non-contest based remixes! I will soon start uploading weekly youtube videos where I will play my music, other artists music like a radio show! I still am a learning DJ and hope to be as professional as artists like Laidback Luke, Hardwell, Kshmr etc! I have many singles which are still to be completed which I will release soon and hope that the listener loves it!

What is your number one tip to improve your music production or songwriting skills?
Try to keep your music mixed by listening to in and removing frequency mashing! when unwanted frequencies mash, it annoys. Also keep your sidechain proper, most people end up having long big room kicks and also add a bassline with little sidechain which spoils everything.
