Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

My name is Max, I'm a UK based DJ and producer. I don't have a specific sound and I like to produce different styles of music and mix whatever I find interesting.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

When I first began listening to Electronic music, it originally stemmed from The Prodigy and Pendulum as that was what my sister listened to at the time. I eventually began branching out and I initially listened to mainly Electro House or Big Room.

After a few years I began to start listening to heavier music such as Dubstep, Bass House and Trap. This was off the tail end of Jauz's breakthrough and his sound was starting to travel. I also started to explore other genres and fell in love with Hard, Tech and Psy-Trance.

When I started university back in 2016, the UK underground scene really hit me and my tastes began to become more narrowed into more Bassline and Dubstep routes.

Other than that, I still remain religious to my three favourite record labels being Disciple, AC Slater's Night Bass and Yellow Claw's Barong Family!

What´s new right now?

I have a new Trance track coming out on Gigas Lux on February 26th. It's a meme-track all based on Carnage's interview from Razer and how he likes to make things 'Very Very Way More Stronger'. In the near future I also have some remixes for my 2017 track 'Fringe' hopefully releasing on Carpe Noctem Inc.

I also co-present a radio show in Lincoln, UK called Native which airs every Sunday from 9-11pm. On from Native we have our first event in The Basement, Lincoln, UK called Native LIVE on March 22nd where you can see myself amongst others playing all things heavy including Drum & Bass, Bassline and Dubstep!
